Donna DeLaBriandais, a third generation native of Santa Rosa, California. She finds inspiration for her paintings in Sonoma County and the North Bay. Donna's paintings reflect the beauty of the area's diverse landscape of farmland, rivers, ocean, vineyards, etc. Her impressionistic style is painterly and spontaneous. Donna studied painting at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and graduated from the University of San Francisco. She spent a summer at LaRomita School of Art in Italy painting "en Plein air," (on location). Donna is a professional artist and juror and judge for art competitions. She earned signature membership in the American Impressionist society in 2007 and is a member of the California Art Club. She exhibits her work in galleries, juried exhibits, wineries and she is celebrating her 32th year in "Art Trails," a juried open studio program held in September. Donna teaches drawing and painting through the Santa Rosa Junior College, Riley Art Supply and various art centers; teaching oil and watercolor painting and drawing. Subjects include Landscape, Still life, Figures and Portraits.
